Aztec Minerals Expands Gold-Silver Zones at Tombstone Project, Arizona
Aztec Minerals Corp. has announced new drilling results from its Tombstone Project in Arizona, reporting expansions to its known gold and silver-bearing zones.

Vancouver, British Columbia โ April 15, 2026 โ Aztec Minerals Corp. has reported new drilling results from its Tombstone Project in southeastern Arizona. The company's drilling efforts have identified broader and deeper gold and silver mineralization in the Contention and Westside areas.
Recent drilling has demonstrated significant potential for extending known mineralized zones. In the Westside area, drill hole TR26-14 intersected 107.9 meters averaging 0.62 gpt gold and 24.8 gpt silver. In the Contention area, drill hole TR26-07 returned 112.5 meters averaging 0.48 gpt gold and 12.6 gpt silver.
Aztec CEO Simon Dyakowski stated that the drilling program continues to demonstrate the growth potential of the Tombstone deposit. The company's 17,000-meter 2025-2026 drill program is ongoing and is testing new targets within the project.
All 14 reported RC drill holes intersected gold-silver mineralization, expanding the Contention and Westside target areas. Aztec has now drilled 59 RC holes as part of its 2025-2026 program, with final assay results for several holes still pending.
