Aztec Minerals Pilots Wastewater Treatment for Tire and Road Wear Particles

Aztec Minerals is exploring the effectiveness of wastewater treatment processes in capturing tire and road wear particles (TWP) through a newly launched pilot project.

The initiative aims to assess how existing water treatment infrastructure can be leveraged to mitigate the environmental impact of TWP, which are generated from the abrasion of tires on road surfaces and are a significant source of microplastics.
