Startup B2G Energies has launched a solution aimed at optimizing energy costs for large business clients by combining solar panel technology, battery storage, and advanced energy management.
The company observed that many large industrial and commercial facilities acquired solar panels and battery storage as separate investments, without an integrated strategy. This resulted in expensive equipment not being fully utilized or effectively monetized. B2G Energies aims to solve this problem by coordinating energy generation, storage, and grid participation into a unified system.
B2G Energies develops and operates distributed energy infrastructure using flexible financing models. The solution reduces reliance on the grid through local solar power generation. It lowers peak demand charges by discharging energy from batteries during critical periods and shifting electricity usage to more affordable times. Additionally, the system creates added value by participating in demand response and other grid services.
The company has already deployed 1.9 megawatts of solar capacity and delivered 26 megawatt-hours of battery storage. It also assisted and project-managed the construction of Asia's largest battery storage facility in Singapore. B2G Energies is now seeking to raise up to US$10 million to accelerate infrastructure deployment and expansion.
