Baby G.O.A.T Athletics to Distribute Football Cleats and School Supplies to Youth in South Los Angeles

Baby G.O.A.T Athletics is set to launch its community outreach event, distributing free football cleats and school supplies to youth in South Los Angeles on August 1, 2026.

The event, held at Franklin D. Roosevelt Park, aims to support local youth by providing sports equipment and school materials for the upcoming academic year. In partnership with Athena Athletic, a program founded by former USC Quarterback Isaac Ward, free football clinics will be offered. Additionally, offices of Senator Lena Gonzalez and County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell will distribute backpacks and school supplies.

According to a recent press release, Baby G.O.A.T Athletics founder Aaron Lomas, a 13-year-old athlete and student, was inspired to organize the event by his family's resilience and a desire to assist youth facing similar challenges. Lomas has previously organized school supply giveaways since 2019.

As part of the initiative, donations of football cleats will be provided to Diego Rivera Learning Complex, one of the most under-resourced high schools in South Los Angeles. A free youth football clinic led by Isaac Ward of Athena Athletic and a meet-and-greet with World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth World Champion Chantel Navarro are also part of the program.
