Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii Franchisee Named IFA Franchisee of the Year

Allen Stanczak, who operates multiple Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii locations in Florida, has been named the International Franchise Association's (IFA) 2026 Franchisee of the Year. The award honors his excellence in business operations and community engagement.

The recognition took place at the IFA's Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., from September 14-16. Stanczak was acknowledged for his entrepreneurship, community outreach, workforce development, and service to others. The IFA Franchisee of the Year awards are presented annually to top franchisees from IFA member brands across various industries.

"Franchisees of the Year demonstrate what franchising is all about – individuals who have committed their lives and careers to the betterment of those around them," stated IFA President and CEO Matt Haller. "Through their leadership, they give back to their communities and support other franchisees, all while exemplifying the entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of franchising."

Stanczak transitioned to Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii after more than a decade as a multi-unit owner in the pet services industry. He has become a strong advocate for the brand and a valuable resource for the franchise network, notably through his participation in the Franchise Advisory Council. His contributions have helped strengthen the overall franchise system.
