Bahrain to Host Gateway Gulf Forum in November

Bahrain is set to host the fourth edition of the Gateway Gulf forum on November 1-2, 2026. The event will gather ministers, senior government officials, and business leaders from across the globe to discuss international partnerships and investments aimed at fostering sustainable economic growth.

Organized by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the invitation-only forum will explore evolving investment dynamics, capital flows, and cross-border economic cooperation. Discussions will focus on strategic relationships and opportunities shaping the global economy amidst geopolitical shifts and rapid technological advancements.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region boasts a combined economy exceeding $2.38 trillion, with Bahrain actively positioning itself as a hub for capital, talent, and innovation. The island nation's diversified economy, where non-oil sectors account for 86% of GDP, makes it an attractive destination for businesses seeking long-term growth.

The forum anticipates approximately 200 senior participants engaging in high-level dialogue on global capital flows, emerging sectors, and the knowledge economy. The previous 2025 edition of Gateway Gulf reportedly generated over $17 billion in announced transactions and investment commitments.
