Bahrain’s Gateway Gulf 2026 Concludes with $22.3 Billion in Investment Deals

The fourth edition of the Gateway Gulf forum in Manama concluded with a total of $22.3 billion in announced investments and partnerships. Hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the two-day event focused on scaling industrial and service sectors, including technology, logistics, aviation, and healthcare.

During the forum, delegates finalized more than 75 agreements and memorandums of understanding. Notably, four major projects valued at $3.89 billion were awarded the government’s "Golden License," a designation aimed at streamlining investment for projects that contribute to the kingdom's economic diversification goals.

Bahrain continues to position itself as a gateway to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market, a region with a combined economy exceeding $2.3 trillion. With non-oil sectors now accounting for approximately 86% of Bahrain’s GDP, officials are leveraging the country's business-friendly regulatory environment to attract international capital and foster long-term industrial integration.
