Baidu integrates internal office tools

Chinese technology firm Baidu has reportedly begun integrating its internal office agent, Dodo, into its Baidu Dazi service. The company is transferring Dodo's research and development personnel and resources to become part of the Dazi team.

Dodo is utilized within Baidu through its messaging app, web client, and desktop application. Its functions include summarizing meetings, processing documents, searching email, accessing knowledge bases, and managing code and requirements.

Baidu Dazi was launched in March for both individual and enterprise users. Reports indicate that Dodo's internal capabilities will be gradually incorporated into the enterprise version of Dazi following the integration. This move signals Baidu's continued investment in AI-powered productivity tools amidst a competitive market landscape.
