Baidu Maps integrates navigation into Zhangxue 820RR motorcycle displays
Baidu Maps has launched a native navigation integration for the Zhangxue 820RR-RS motorcycle, featuring a 6.2-inch TFT instrument display.
Baidu Maps has partnered with motorcycle manufacturer Zhangxue to embed its navigation platform directly into the digital dashboards of the 820RR series. The 820RR-RS carbon fiber model now displays real-time navigation data on its 6.2-inch TFT screen, moving away from reliance on external smartphone mounts.
The system is specifically configured for motorcycles, incorporating routing constraints based on license plate regulations and engine displacement. This functionality is currently active across more than 100 Chinese cities. The interface also provides automated zoom-in views at complex intersections to assist riders with navigational prompts.
This integration is supported by Ritu (Daodaotong), a navigation mapping service provider. Baidu Maps continues to expand its footprint in the two-wheeler market, currently supplying navigation software to over 90% of top-tier motorcycle and e-bike manufacturers, including brands such as Yadea, Ninebot, and CFMOTO.
