Baidu is set to implement substantial upgrades to its Wenku and Wangpan cloud storage services, including the launch of separate web portals and client applications tailored for professionals in the finance, education, and office sectors.
A key component of this upgrade involves enhancing the GenFlow technology. These advancements aim to provide finance professionals with capabilities for in-depth research, financial modeling, AI-powered meeting assistance, and cloud storage. The intention is to develop specialized AI workstations that cater to professional skill sets.
Internal, invitation-only testing for the upgraded services is scheduled to commence by the end of July. Baidu plans to disclose further details regarding these developments at the upcoming WAIC2026 event.
