Baidu's Xiaodu schedules AI hardware launch for Sept. 8
Baidu's smart device unit Xiaodu will unveil new hardware, including smart displays and speakers, at a product event on September 8. The devices will feature the company's updated AI assistant.
Baidu's smart device business, Xiaodu, is scheduled to launch new hardware at a product event on September 8, commencing at 2 p.m. Beijing time. The upcoming lineup is expected to include smart displays, Tiantian companion screens, smart speakers, and cameras.
These devices will be powered by the company's upgraded Chaoneng Xiaodu AI assistant. The invitation also indicated the release of a second-generation AI monitoring agent designed for Xiaodu cameras.
The launch follows the introduction of the Chaoneng Xiaodu AI assistant last November. At that time, Baidu announced a free upgrade program for millions of existing devices within its ecosystem.
