Bajaj Finance Acquires 5% Stake in AI Video Startup TrueFan AI

Bajaj Finance, a prominent Indian non-banking financial company, has acquired a 5% stake in Delhi NCR-based AI video generation startup TrueFan AI. The financial terms of the investment were not disclosed, but it aligns with Bajaj Finserv's strategic initiative, Finserv Intelligence, aimed at nurturing and investing in high-tech, scalable Indian ventures.

Bajaj Finance has been a user of TrueFan AI's platform, deploying it to generate personalized videos for customer engagement and dealer enablement. This stake acquisition is seen as a move to further integrate AI-driven automation and personalization across the company's digital ecosystem.

"As a FINAI company, we are deploying AI at scale across the company. Our investment in TrueFan AI follows sustained, production-scale use of its technology, giving us first-hand experience of the platform’s capabilities," stated Rajeev Jain, vice chairman and managing director of Bajaj Finance.

TrueFan AI, which has previously raised significant funding, focuses on enterprise solutions for creating personalized videos using AI avatars and, previously, celebrity content. The startup serves over 100 enterprise clients across sectors including finance, healthcare, and media.

This investment underscores Bajaj Finserv's commitment to backing technology startups through Finserv Intelligence. The initiative plans substantial investments in companies focused on AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and other emerging technologies over the next five years.
