Bambu Lab introduces H3C 3D printer with nine-tool exchange system
Bambu Lab has launched the H3C, its third-generation desktop 3D printer featuring the Swaptek nine-tool exchange architecture.

Bambu Lab unveiled the H3C in Austin, Texas, on November 6, 2026. This new desktop model integrates the proprietary Swaptek system, which allows the machine to cycle through nine distinct tools during the printing process.
The manufacturer intends for the H3C to address limitations in current desktop 3D printing, specifically targeting the trade-off between output speed and mechanical reliability. By automating tool changes, the machine aims to streamline complex multi-material or multi-color production tasks.
This release represents the third generation of hardware for the company. As the desktop 3D printing sector continues to consolidate, the H3C enters a market increasingly focused on ease-of-use and higher automation levels for professional and hobbyist users.
