Banana Pi Launches BPI-CM7 Core Board with Allwinner H618 Chip
Banana Pi has introduced its new BPI-CM7 core board, powered by the Allwinner H618 system-on-chip. The board features four Arm Cortex-A53 CPU cores and an Arm Mali-G31 GPU.
Chinese technology firm Banana Pi unveiled its BPI-CM7 core board late last month. The module is built around the Allwinner H618 system-on-chip, which integrates four Arm Cortex-A53 CPU cores and an Arm Mali-G31 GPU.
The BPI-CM7 comes with 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB of eMMC flash storage. For wireless connectivity, it includes a Kertong K019 module based on the Infineon CYW43455 chip, supporting dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (1T1R) and Bluetooth 5.1. A 256-byte EEPROM is also present.
Measuring 55mm by 40mm, the core board offers expansion capabilities through two 100-pin connectors on its underside. These connectors provide access to various I/O interfaces, including HDMI, 100MbE Ethernet, one USB 2.0 OTG port, three USB 2.0 Host ports, and a microSD card slot.
