Bandai expands Digimon card game to mobile platforms

Bandai Co., Ltd. is moving its Digimon Card Game into the mobile market with the introduction of Digimon Alysion. The company has officially opened pre-registration for the application across 49 countries and regions.

The development marks an effort by Bandai to translate the competitive dynamics of its physical card game into a digital format. By leveraging its existing player base, the firm aims to capture a larger share of the digital collectible card game sector, which has seen increased competition from similar franchise adaptations.

This release follows the company’s objective to broaden the accessibility of the Digimon brand. While pre-registration is currently active, the developer has yet to announce a final release schedule for the mobile platform.
