MANITOWOC, Wis. โ July 24, 2026 โ Bank First Corporation reported a net income of $24.7 million, or $2.21 per share, for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. This marks a substantial increase from the $16.9 million, or $1.71 per share, reported in the same period of the previous year.
For the first six months of 2026, Bank First earned $44.7 million, or $3.99 per share, compared to $35.1 million, or $3.53 per share, for the corresponding period in 2025. The bank also reported adjusted net income of $27.3 million for the second quarter and $52.4 million for the six-month period, after excluding acquisition expenses and certain asset sales.
The acquisitions of Centre 1 Bancorp, Inc. and PSB Holdings, Inc. have significantly impacted the bank's results. Centre, with $1.48 billion in assets at its January 1, 2026, closing, increased Bank First's total assets by 33%. These transactions influenced various aspects of Bank First's financial performance.
Net interest income rose to $55.0 million in the second quarter, with a net interest margin of 4.13%. This reflects an increase from the previous quarter and a notable improvement over the second quarter of 2025. Notably, the bank recorded no provision for credit losses in the second quarter of 2026, differing from the $0.2 million provision in the prior year's second quarter.
Bank First also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.60 per share, an increase of 9.1% from the previous quarter and 33.3% from the second quarter of 2025.
