Bank of America faces securities fraud class action lawsuit

A securities class action lawsuit has been initiated against Bank of America Corporation regarding stock purchases made between August 1, 2025, and October 13, 2026. Filed by Rosen Law Firm, the legal action claims that the bank failed to properly manage its anti-money laundering (BSA/AML) and sanctions compliance programs, despite a 2024 consent order requiring remediation.

The lawsuit alleges that Bank of America, N.A. failed to monitor trillions of dollars in transactions and delayed or filed inaccurate suspicious activity reports. The plaintiffs contend that these internal deficiencies were known to the company but were not transparently disclosed to investors, masking the potential for significant financial penalties and increased compliance costs.

Investors who purchased shares during the designated class period may participate in the litigation. The deadline to move the court to serve as lead plaintiff is December 15, 2026. As the class has not yet been certified, individual investors are not currently represented unless they retain private counsel.
