Charleston, SC โ September 24, 2026 โ Bank of South Carolina Corporation (OTCQX: BKSC) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share. The dividend is payable on October 30, 2026, to shareholders of record as of October 6, 2026. This marks the 148th consecutive quarterly cash dividend paid by the company.
In addition to the dividend, The Bank of South Carolina has been recognized in a national ranking by American Banker. The bank was named among the top 200 publicly traded community banks with assets under $2 billion, securing the 59th position. The Bank of South Carolina is the highest-ranked South Carolina-based bank on this year's list.
The ranking, developed by Capital Performance Group, is based on average return on equity from 2023 through 2025. CEO Eugene H. Walpole IV expressed satisfaction with the company's year-to-date earnings and strong capital position, which allow for the continued return of profits to shareholders.
