Barco Appoints AED UK as Distributor for Professional Projectors in UK and Ireland

Barco has appointed AED UK as a distributor for its professional projection portfolio in the United Kingdom and Ireland, broadening the companies' long-standing relationship. The deal extends AED's role beyond rental services.

The agreement will provide customers in the region with local access to Barco's projection solutions, sales support, and technical expertise. AED UK will also offer increased stock availability and customer service capabilities across the UK and Ireland.

Barco stated the agreement reinforces its partner-first approach in the rental and staging market. AED UK Managing Director Matthew Hart said the partnership will provide customers with faster access to Barco's technology, backed by local service and expertise.

The collaboration builds on existing work in mainland Europe and follows AED's earlier expansion of its fleet with 32 Barco QDX projectors. The move comes as the live events and rental markets demand reliable projection technology and responsive service.
