Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has released a report examining the value generated by investments in artificial intelligence (AI). The findings suggest that up to 70 percent of AI's value stems from people and processes, rather than exclusively from algorithms or technological solutions.

A global survey conducted by BCG found that at least 50 percent of CEOs believe their positions are at risk if their company's AI initiatives fail, highlighting the strategic importance of AI for business leaders.

The report outlines a 10-20-70 principle, where 10 percent of AI value is attributed to algorithms, 20 percent to data and technology, and the remaining 70 percent to people and processes. This framework advises organizations to concentrate on the broader human and organizational aspects of AI deployment.

Business leaders are urged to recognize that successful AI integration requires more than technical expertise. It also necessitates changes in organizational culture, workflows, and employee training to fully capitalize on AI's potential.
