BD appoints Bridget Bagnato as worldwide president of Peripheral Intervention
Medical technology company BD has named Bridget Bagnato to lead its Peripheral Intervention business unit, effective November 16.
BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) announced that Bridget Bagnato will become the worldwide president of its Peripheral Intervention business unit starting November 16. Based in Tempe, Arizona, she will manage the unit's global strategy, operations, and commercial activities, reporting directly to Peter Menziuso, executive vice president and president of the Interventional segment.
Bagnato is transitioning from her current role as worldwide president of BD's Specimen Management unit. Her tenure at the company spans more than 27 years, during which she has served in various leadership positions across Medication Delivery Solutions and the company's surgical divisions.
According to Menziuso, the leadership change is intended to leverage Bagnato's operational experience to advance the company's technologies in peripheral vascular disease, oncology, and end-stage kidney disease. She holds degrees from Villanova University and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
