BDO Achieves Over 500 Million Euros in Revenue for First Time

BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft has announced a record revenue of 508.3 million euros for the 2024/25 fiscal year, marking a significant 10.2% increase compared to the previous year. This achievement signifies the company's first time surpassing the 500 million euro threshold and represents its fourth consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth.

The company attributes its growth primarily to advancements in digitalization and the strategic implementation of artificial intelligence (AI). All three core business segments – Audit & Assurance, Tax & Legal, and Advisory – contributed consistently to this expansion. Audit & Assurance remains the largest segment, accounting for 44% of the total revenue, while Advisory services demonstrated the highest growth rate.

In parallel with its financial growth, BDO also expanded its workforce, now employing over 3,350 individuals across 28 locations in Germany. The company highlights ongoing investments in digital solutions and AI as crucial for enhancing quality and efficiency across all its service lines.

BDO plans to continue its focus on technological development and employee training to meet evolving client demands and maintain a competitive edge. Management indicated that AI is being utilized as an assistive system to automate routine tasks and deepen audit quality, while final decision-making remains with human professionals.
