BDO Reports 14.2 Percent Revenue Growth to €461.2 Million
Audit and advisory firm BDO announced its revenue increased by 14.2 percent to €461.2 million for the 2023/24 fiscal year. All three business segments contributed to the growth.
The audit and advisory firm BDO reported a 14.2 percent increase in revenue, reaching €461.2 million for the fiscal year 2023/24. This figure represents a significant rise from the previous year's €404 million. The company attributes this growth to its enhanced market presence and its ability to provide comprehensive solutions to businesses navigating dynamic and uncertain times.
All three of BDO's business divisions – Audit & Assurance, Tax & Legal, and Advisory – experienced double-digit growth. The Advisory segment saw the highest increase at 18.4 percent. Audit & Assurance remained the largest contributor to the overall revenue, accounting for 44.3 percent.
BDO also expanded its workforce by 6.5 percent, bringing the total number of employees to over 3,250. The firm established a new office in Nuremberg, furthering its regional expansion. CEOs Andrea Bruckner and Parwäz Rafiqpoor highlighted ongoing investments in personnel and digitalization, including the integration of artificial intelligence solutions, as key drivers for future success.
Globally, the BDO network operates in 166 countries with nearly 120,000 employees, generating approximately $15 billion in revenue for the 2024 fiscal year. BDO Germany is focusing on leveraging AI to improve audit efficiency and bolster its international tax advisory services.
