Beacon Communications Acquires Illinois-Based Low Voltage Solutions Inc.
Beacon Communications has expanded its footprint into the Chicago market through the acquisition of Lockport-based technology firm Low Voltage Solutions.
Denver-based Beacon Communications LLC, a firm specializing in life safety and critical communications infrastructure, finalized the acquisition of Low Voltage Solutions Inc. (LVS) on November 5. The deal brings the Lockport, Illinois-based company under the Beacon corporate umbrella, expanding the parent firm's operational capacity within the Chicago metropolitan area.
This move aligns with Beacon’s stated objective of increasing its national service coverage. By incorporating LVS’s local infrastructure and technical team, Beacon aims to scale its deployment of communication systems across the Midwest.
The transaction represents a shift in the regional competitive landscape for low-voltage systems integration. Integration efforts are expected to follow, focusing on standardizing service protocols for existing LVS clients while transitioning them into Beacon's broader support network.
