Naturis Cosmetics, a manufacturer of beauty and personal care (BPC) products, has raised ₹100 crore (approximately $11.8 million) in a Series A funding round.
The funding was led by Sharrp Ventures, with participation from Mirabilis Investment Trust, Anicut Capital, and Niveshaay.
The company plans to utilize the new capital to set up a new 225,000 sq ft production facility in Vapi, Gujarat. Additionally, it will open an experience center in Delhi NCR and establish a new R&D center in Mumbai. Naturis also intends to scale its team and expand into adjacent categories like men's grooming and fragrances over the next five years.
Founded in 2011, Naturis Cosmetics provides contract manufacturing services to brands across D2C, FMCG, and OTC pharma sectors. The company specializes in formulation and manufacturing for skincare, haircare, makeup, fragrance, and personal care products, serving over 50 brands including Pilgrim, Purplle, and Nykaa.
The investment comes amid rapid growth in India's BPC market, which is projected to reach $40 billion by 2030. This funding highlights increasing investor interest in businesses that support India's direct-to-consumer (D2C) ecosystem.
