Becklar, along with its Becklar Cares Foundation, has completed its 13th annual 'Run for a Reason' 5K fundraising series across three communities: Ogden, UT; Rexburg, ID; and Cedar City, UT. The events, held in September 2026, aimed to gather financial support for local families managing significant medical expenses.

The series attracted over 250 participants and collectively raised more than $35,000. All proceeds were directed to three specific families facing medical hardships. Contributions came from Becklar employees, community members, and corporate and individual sponsors. Hundreds of volunteer hours were contributed by Becklar staff for the planning and execution of each event.

Each 5K event honored a family in need. The Ogden event on September 5, 2026, supported baby Deli, who has faced ongoing medical issues since birth. The Rexburg run on September 19, 2026, benefited seven-year-old Valerie, diagnosed with a rare immune deficiency. Funds raised in Cedar City on September 26, 2026, were for Sofia, who requires heart surgery.

Justin Bailey, President of Becklar Monitoring, emphasized the events' role in demonstrating community support. "These fundraisers have always been about more than just raising money—they're about showing families they're not alone," Bailey stated. He added that supporting the community during difficult times is integral to the company's identity and its "We Care FIRST" motto.
