The transaction, initially agreed upon in August 2026 for 90 percent of the shares with an option for the remainder, was finalized following unconditional approval from the Lithuanian competition authority.
Headquartered in Vilnius, Refra will continue to operate under its existing brand. The company's financial results have been consolidated into Beijer Ref Group's accounts as of October 9, 2026.
This acquisition is expected to strengthen Beijer Ref's market position in the growing segment of environmentally friendly cooling and heating solutions.
