Gross profit also experienced a sharp decrease of 51.3%, amounting to 5.81 billion yuan. The company's operating cash flow was negative at -8.23 billion yuan.
Facing a challenging external environment characterized by rising raw material costs and intensified international competition, Beijing Automotive plans to counter these pressures by enhancing its overall system's competitiveness and value. The company aims to leverage new product launches, including luxury and light off-road vehicles, to drive sales growth.
Key strategic initiatives include the introduction of new models like the all-electric GLC and new luxury off-road SUVs. The company also intends to stabilize sales rhythms and expand exports, particularly through Beijing Hyundai, to achieve its annual sales targets and bolster its presence in international markets.
