Beijing Hyundai, a joint venture between China's BAIC Group and South Korea's Hyundai Motor Company, has announced that its new electric vehicle, the艾尼氪 V, will officially launch in September. The announcement was made during the 2026 China Automotive Forum, where company officials also stated that three new models will be introduced this year.

The艾尼氪 V features a design led entirely by Hyundai's China Design Center, aiming to cater to the preferences of Chinese consumers. It will be available in eight color options and sports an avant-garde, coupe-like silhouette with a low center of gravity and wide stance. The vehicle includes frameless doors and a distinct rear light design.

Inside, the艾尼氪 V boasts a 'Nebula' wrap-around interior design, a 27-inch ultra-thin 4K screen, and a 'Cyber Eye' HUD. Key technological integrations include Momenta, the Qualcomm 8295 chip, CATL batteries, and Baidu's Wenxin large language model.

The vehicle is built on the E-GMP electric platform, measuring 4900 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, and 1470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. Beijing Hyundai confirmed that the model will support both pure electric and extended-range electric (EREV) powertrains and will feature 800V fast-charging capabilities.
