Beko Publishes 2025 Integrated Report and Retains Top Ranking on TIME Sustainability List
Home appliance manufacturer Beko has released its 2025 Integrated Report, detailing its financial, environmental, and social performance. The company also maintained its industry-leading position on TIME Magazine's list of the World's Most Sustainable Companies for the third consecutive year.
ISTANBUL – Home appliance maker Beko has published its 2025 Integrated Report, outlining the company's financial, environmental, and social performance over the past year. Concurrently, Beko has been recognized for the third year running as one of TIME Magazine's World's Most Sustainable Companies, retaining the #1 position in its industry.
The report details measurable progress across Beko's global manufacturing network. In 2025, energy efficiency initiatives at production sites saved 69,562 gigajoules (GJ) of energy and avoided 5,297 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) emissions. Waste recycling rates across all manufacturing facilities reached 98.6%. Renewable energy installed capacity increased to 96 MWp, with green electricity accounting for 63.5% of total production, moving towards a 100% target by 2030. Water efficiency and rainwater harvesting projects resulted in total water savings of 219,114 cubic meters.
Beko's manufacturing transformation has also advanced, with three of its facilities recognized in the World Economic Forum's Global Lighthouse Network. The Ulmi plant additionally received the rarer designation of Sustainability Lighthouse. These principles are being extended across Beko's broader manufacturing ecosystem to scale low-impact production. The company currently operates 13 smart factories globally, employing AI, machine learning, and robotics, with a goal to reach 17 by the end of 2026.
In the area of circular economy, Beko's refurbishment centers reintroduced over 148,000 appliances to the market in 2025. Since 2014, the company has recycled 1.98 million waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) units and utilized 31,665 tonnes of recycled plastics in its products during 2025. Products with low carbon footprints accounted for 72.6% of Beko's turnover in 2025.
