Beko Publishes 2025 Integrated Report Detailing Net Zero Progress
Appliance manufacturer Beko has released its 2025 Integrated Report, outlining progress toward net-zero emissions. The company also retained its industry-leading position on TIME Magazine's sustainability list.

Istanbul, July 24, 2026 – Beko, the home appliance manufacturer, has published its 2025 Integrated Report, providing a comprehensive account of the company's financial, environmental, and social performance over the past year. The release coincides with Beko's third consecutive inclusion on TIME Magazine's list of the World's Most Sustainable Companies, where it maintained its top position within its industry.
The report details quantifiable achievements across Beko's global manufacturing operations. In 2025, energy efficiency projects at production sites resulted in savings of 69,562 GJ, avoiding 5,297 tonnes of CO2e emissions. The waste recycling rate across all manufacturing facilities reached 98.6%, nearing the target of 99%. Installed capacity for renewable energy reached 96 MWp, with green electricity accounting for 63.5% of total production, supporting the goal of 100% by 2030. Water efficiency and rainwater harvesting initiatives led to a total water saving of 219,114 cubic meters.
Significant transformations within the company's manufacturing processes have yielded notable results. Three of Beko's facilities have been recognized in the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network, with the Ulmi plant also receiving the distinction of Sustainability Lighthouse. Principles derived from the Ulmi plant are now being extended across Beko’s broader manufacturing ecosystem, as the company aims to increase its number of smart factories from 13 to 17 by the end of 2026.
In terms of the circular economy, Beko's refurbishment centers reintroduced over 148,000 appliances to the market in 2025 alone. Since 2014, the company has recycled 1.98 million units of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and incorporated 31,665 tonnes of recycled plastics into its products in 2025. Products designated as low-carbon contributed 72.6% to the company's turnover.
Beko CEO Can Dinçer stated that the three-year recognition from TIME underscores sustainability as a foundational aspect of the company's business. He noted that Beko's factories are undergoing a dual transformation of decarbonization and digitalization, emphasizing that progress is deliberate and measurable, as detailed in the Integrated Report.
