Beko Publishes 2025 Integrated Report on Emissions Progress
Beko has released its 2025 Integrated Report, detailing the company's financial, social, and environmental performance and its progress toward "net-zero emissions" goals.
ISTANBUL, July 24, 2026 – Beko has published its 2025 Integrated Report, providing a comprehensive account of the company’s financial, environmental, and social performance over the past year. Concurrently, Beko has been recognized for the third consecutive year on TIME Magazine’s list of the world’s most sustainable companies, retaining the top position in its sector.
The report highlights Beko's concrete achievements in reducing emissions across its global production facilities. In 2025, energy efficiency projects saved 69,562 GJ of energy and avoided 5,297 tons of CO2e emissions. The waste recycling rate across production sites reached 98.6%. Renewable energy capacity hit 96 MWp, with the company achieving 63.5% green electricity usage, contributing to its goal of 100% by 2030.
Beko's industrial operations are undergoing a significant transformation, with three of its production facilities recognized within the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network. The Ulmi plant also received the additional, rarer distinction of a Sustainability Lighthouse. The company is extending these principles for lower environmental impact across its industrial ecosystem and aims to increase its advanced automation facilities from 13 to 17 by the end of 2026.
Sustainability also extends to its products. In 2025, over 148,000 refurbished appliances were returned to market. Recycled plastics used in products amounted to 31,665 tons. Currently, 72.6% of Beko's revenue comes from products with a lower carbon footprint, reflecting growing consumer demand for environmentally conscious appliances.
