Beko Releases 2025 Integrated Report Documenting Progress Toward Net-Zero Emissions

Appliance manufacturer Beko has released its 2025 Integrated Report, providing a comprehensive overview of the company's financial, environmental, and social performance over the past year. This release coincides with Beko's third consecutive inclusion in TIME Magazine's World's Most Sustainable Companies list, where it maintains its top position in its sector.

In 2025, Beko achieved concrete results across its global production network. Energy efficiency projects saved 69,562 GJ of energy, preventing 5,297 tons of CO₂e emissions. Waste recycling rates at manufacturing facilities reached 98.6%, and renewable energy capacity grew to 96 MWp, as Beko advances toward its goal of 100% green electricity in all plants by 2030. Water efficiency and rainwater harvesting projects resulted in a total water saving of 219,114 m³.

The company's production model is undergoing a significant transformation. Three of Beko's plants have been recognized within the World Economic Forum's Global Lighthouse Network, with the Ulmi facility also receiving a Lighthouse of Sustainability award. Beko is integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics into its 13 smart factories worldwide, with plans to expand this network to 17 factories by the end of 2026.

In circular economy initiatives, Beko reintroduced over 148,000 refurbished home appliances to the market in 2025. The company has also recycled 1.98 million tons of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) since 2014 and utilized 31,665 tons of recycled plastics in its products last year. Products with low carbon emissions accounted for 72.6% of Beko's 2025 revenue, reflecting its broad range of energy-efficient appliances and growing consumer demand for environmentally conscious products.
