Belay Diagnostics wins Palantir Buildcamp for second consecutive year
Chicago-based Belay Diagnostics has secured victory in Palantir's Foundry for Builders competition for the second year running, showcasing new data integration tools for CNS cancer diagnostics.
Belay Diagnostics won Palantir's Buildcamp competition held in New York by developing a prototype for clinical case reviews. The software enables neuro-oncologists to visualize complex patient histories alongside cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy results on an interactive timeline to aid collaborative decision-making.
The team's success follows a 2025 victory where they presented an application to automate insurance appeals by cross-referencing patient records with payer policies. Both tools were built using the Palantir Foundry platform, which Belay employs to integrate clinical and business operations and incorporate AI into its diagnostic workflows.
CEO Brian Coe stated that the company intends to continue expanding its digital toolset to support clinical trials and revenue cycle management. This recognition follows the company’s recent attainment of a SOC 2 attestation, confirming the strength of its data security controls.
