Believe and Suno Partner on AI Music Licensing

Music development company Believe and AI music creation tool provider Suno have announced a strategic partnership aimed at advancing licensed AI music opportunities for independent artists and labels. The collaboration will integrate participating repertoire from Believe and its TuneCore platform into Suno's new music models.

Under the agreement, music from selected Believe and TuneCore artists and labels will be incorporated into Suno's upcoming industry partner models. Artists and labels will have the option to participate in new, licensed music products developed jointly by the two companies, ensuring they can benefit from and contribute to responsible AI advancements.

Artists who opt in will receive compensation for their music, with their rights protected. They will also benefit from Suno's specific training protections, transparency tools, and download limits, designed to safeguard creators' intellectual property.

Tracks generated by artists using Suno's new industry partner model will become eligible for distribution through Believe and TuneCore. This signifies a shift from Believe's prior stance on blocking certain AI model distributions, reflecting progress in artist protections and industry dialogue.

Denis Ladegaillerie, Founder and CEO of Believe, stated the partnership leverages AI technology to create more opportunities and value for artists. Mikey Shulman, CEO of Suno, emphasized the shared goal of supporting independent artists with enhanced creative tools and distribution channels.
