Believe and TuneCore's 'Signed By' Program Has Supported Over 340 Artists

Global digital music distributor TuneCore and its parent company, Paris-based Believe, announced that their collaborative 'Signed By' program has supported over 340 artists and labels worldwide. The initiative identifies promising artists on TuneCore's platform and offers them opportunities for further development and distribution through Believe's network.

The 'Signed By' program enables independent artists using TuneCore's DIY digital music distribution services to be considered for upstreaming to Believe and its associated brands. TuneCore, acquired by Believe in 2015, caters to artists often at the early stages of their careers, who manage many aspects of their development independently.

When artists reach a certain level of traction, Believe's Label and Artist Solutions (L&AS) and Artist Services divisions provide comprehensive global support. This includes not only digital distribution but also marketing strategies, technology, artist development, and release planning. To date, more than 340 artists and labels have transitioned from TuneCore to Believe and its various labels, such as Nuclear Blast and Naïve.

Believe CEO Denis Ladegaillerie stated that the companies aim to support artists at all stages of their careers. He highlighted how their symbiotic business model allows for early identification of talent through TuneCore, followed by enhanced development via Believe's broader services.

The program has seen success stories like that of French artist Landy, whose album "ASSA BAING," released by Believe in 2019, achieved gold status within two months. His subsequent album "A ONE" has also performed strongly, with Believe's support significantly boosting his listener numbers across various platforms.
