Believe Launches US Label & Artist Solutions, Names Thomas Maxwell VP
Paris-based artist development company Believe has officially launched its Label & Artist Solutions business in the United States. Thomas Maxwell has been appointed Vice President US, Label & Artist Solutions to lead the expansion.
NEW YORK – Global artist development company Believe has officially launched its Label & Artist Solutions business in the United States. Industry veteran Thomas Maxwell has been appointed Vice President US, Label & Artist Solutions to spearhead this new venture.
Maxwell will report to Romain Vivien, Believe’s Global Head of Music. "Thomas' expertise and connections make him the ideal candidate to lead Believe’s expansion into the United States," Vivien stated. Maxwell’s responsibilities will include building partnerships with independent labels and growing the company's presence in the U.S.
Maxwell plans to establish Believe as a key partner for independent music companies in the U.S., working from New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles. He aims to help independent labels and artists navigate the digital music ecosystem and build sustainable careers.
Prior to joining Believe, Maxwell played a key role in establishing the U.S. office for IDOL. His past work includes collaborations with artists such as Yaeji and Cate Le Bon, and labels like Mexican Summer. Believe, founded in 2005, operates in more than 50 countries.
