Ben Becker to star in new series Boom Boom Bruno
Actor Ben Becker takes on his first leading series role in Warner TV's upcoming six-part drama, Boom Boom Bruno, scheduled to debut on December 7.
Actor Ben Becker has been cast in the lead role for the new six-part drama series Boom Boom Bruno. Written by Kerstin-Sofie Laudascher and directed by Maurice Hübner, the production explores the professional and personal life of a small-town police officer holding traditional, often confrontational views.
The plot follows Bruno as he is forced to work with a new partner, Mark, to investigate the murder of a drag queen. The series uses this partnership to examine the clash between the protagonist's outdated worldviews and the shifting social dynamics of his environment.
This project represents Becker's first major foray into a lead role for television. The series is produced for Warner TV and is scheduled for release on December 7, targeting an international audience.
