Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops Raise Funds for Democracy Organizations

Ben & Jerry's announced the return of its "Waffle Lotta Good" fundraising program, running from September 28 to October 12, 2026. Participating Scoop Shops across the United States will donate $1 from every waffle cone sold to organizations focused on civic engagement and democracy-related community initiatives.

The program aims to support grassroots organizations working to strengthen community participation and ensure access to information and resources for civic action. These groups play a role in empowering citizens and promoting democratic processes.

Carleen Pickard, Ben & Jerry's Social Mission Director, stated that grassroots organizing is a crucial tool against the erosion of democracy. She explained that customer purchases of waffle cones directly fund community activists engaged in voter registration and ensuring broader participation in decision-making.
