Benelli has introduced the TRK552X motorcycle equipped with an electronic throttle system.
The updated model features significant enhancements, including a bi-directional electronic quickshifter, cruise control, and Brembo braking system. It also incorporates 1080P HD cameras on the front and rear. The TRK series has achieved cumulative global sales exceeding 130,000 units over its ten-year history.
The TRK552X is powered by a 548.9cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine delivers a maximum power of 45.0 kW (approximately 61.2 hp) at 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 55.0 Nm at 6000 rpm, with a top speed rated at 172 km/h. The engine's design focuses on providing ample torque in the low to mid-range RPMs and mitigating vibrations.
The motorcycle utilizes a steel trellis frame combined with an aluminum alloy swingarm. Its curb weight is reported as 246 kg, with a minimum ground clearance of 200 mm. The suspension system includes adjustable Marzocchi inverted front forks and a central hydraulic rear shock absorber. Braking is handled by dual 320mm front discs with Brembo four-piston calipers and a 260mm rear disc with a Brembo single-piston caliper.
Further features include a 7-inch TFT display supporting smartphone connectivity, tire pressure monitoring, navigation mirroring, and call/message notifications. The handlebar and seat offer three levels of heating. Charging options are provided via USB and Type-C ports, with the capability to also charge the vehicle's battery.
