Bengaluru-based Trading Platform Tradl Secures $4.1 Million in Seed Funding

Bengaluru-based financial technology firm Tradl has closed a $4.1 million seed funding round. The investment was led by Nexus Venture Partners and Stellaris Venture Partners, with additional contributions from several angel investors, according to corporate filings.

Founded in 2025 by IIT Guwahati graduates Shubham Bansal and Nilesh Raj, Tradl provides an AI-driven platform designed to assist retail traders in market analysis and strategy backtesting. The platform utilizes natural language processing to interpret user queries, which are then processed by a quantitative engine against historical market data.

The capital injection occurs as investor interest in India's AI-focused financial services sector continues to climb. Industry data indicates that the Indian AI segment saw $438 million in funding across 35 deals in the third quarter of 2026, marking a significant year-over-year increase. Tradl enters a competitive field alongside peers like Trackk and StockGro, which are also integrating AI-based discovery and research tools for retail investors.

Tradl currently supports operations on the NSE, BSE, and MCX exchanges. The company plans to use the funds to further develop its suite of technical analysis tools, which include stock screeners and automated pattern alerts.
