Bentley Torcal Electric Crossover Interior Details and "Mood Modes" Revealed

Bentley has released details regarding the interior of its upcoming all-electric Torcal crossover, focusing on its advanced cabin technology. The vehicle introduces a new system called the Curation Engine, designed to dynamically alter the interior atmosphere by integrating lighting, audio, temperature, air quality, and digital interfaces.

Based on "sensory neuroscience," the Curation Engine adjusts the cabin environment to suit different journey requirements. It aims to create four distinct "mood modes" or ambiances tailored to various emotional states, scenarios, and mental conditions. The default "Bentley Mode" offers a balanced, warm experience with soft orange lighting, while "Comfort Mode" prioritizes tranquility and relaxation by minimizing digital distractions and screen information.

The "Sport Mode" enhances driver engagement through immersive sound effects and brighter, potentially dynamic lighting. For extended drives, the "Refresh Mode" uses brighter illumination and increased fresh air to combat fatigue and boost alertness. These modes are complemented by the use of premium materials like leather and carbon fiber, alongside signature design elements such as circular air vents and a Naim sound system.

Built on the PPE platform shared with the Porsche Cayenne Electric, the Torcal is expected to feature a maximum power output of 597 kW. The model is slated for a U.S. market launch in the third quarter of 2027, with an estimated price range of $200,000 to $250,000.
