The collaboration is designed to enable Berklee Online's degree students to fulfill general education requirements. Qualified students will be able to complete select introductory courses through Sophia Learning's platform.
Since its founding in 2006, Berklee Online has provided music education to students worldwide. This partnership aims to offer greater flexibility and potentially accelerate degree completion for its students by recognizing credits earned through Sophia Learning.
The agreement allows students to fulfill credits for courses such as Introduction to Biology, Introduction to Psychology, and Introduction to Sociology, among others. This initiative expands educational pathways for students seeking degrees in music and related fields.
