Besins Healthcare Brazil Employees Participate in Community Volunteer Effort

Besins Healthcare Brazil employees participated in a volunteer effort linked to the Sementes do Bem program, an initiative by their commercial partner Farmarcas. Eighteen employees collaborated to prepare 645 meals, which were distributed on the same day to individuals and families facing food insecurity.

Sementes do Bem is a volunteer project created by Farmarcas, a Brazilian association of independent pharmacy networks. The project mobilizes volunteers to prepare meals for people in vulnerable situations, encouraging companies and partners to contribute time and resources.

Beyond their direct participation, Besins Healthcare Brazil supports the initiative through a waste upcycling program. Materials such as boxes and pallets that would otherwise be discarded are sold, with the proceeds donated monthly to charitable actions like Sementes do Bem.

The company stated this initiative reflects its commitments to supporting community well-being, encouraging responsible resource use, and contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive local environment.
