Besins Healthcare marks one year of operation at Muel factory

Besins Healthcare acknowledged the one-year anniversary of its factory in Muel, Spain, on September 20, 2024. The facility commenced operations in September 2023, focusing on the production of essential hormone treatments that adhere to the company's global quality standards.

The nearly 10,000 m2 Muel site has steadily ramped up production. It currently produces approximately one million women's health products monthly. The factory's inauguration played a key role in Besins Healthcare's ability to meet growing worldwide demand for its progesterone products.

With a workforce of over 40 employees, the Muel factory is undergoing production extensions. These expansion plans are designed to increase the facility's capacity to 40 million products per year by 2025.
