Besins Healthcare Marks One Year of Operations at Muel Factory

Besins Healthcare marked the first anniversary of its state-of-the-art factory in Muel, Spain, on September 20, 2023. Over the past year, the nearly 10,000 square meter facility has steadily increased production of essential hormone treatments.

The Muel site is currently producing around one million women's health products each month, primarily hormone replacement therapies. The company stated that the factory's opening was pivotal in meeting growing global demand, particularly for progesterone products.

With a current team of over 40 employees, the factory is undergoing expansion plans. Besins Healthcare aims to reach a production capacity of 40 million products annually by 2025.

The Muel facility's establishment supports Besins Healthcare's global strategy for hormone therapy manufacturing and supply.
