Retailer Best Buy is including a $100 gift card with preorders of Apple’s latest MacBook Pro models equipped with PROLED XDR displays.
Best Buy has launched a promotional incentive for customers preordering Apple’s latest MacBook Pro laptops. The retailer is bundling a $100 gift card with purchases of both 14-inch and 16-inch configurations, including models featuring the M6 chip. The credit is applied automatically at checkout.
The new hardware highlights the introduction of the PROLED XDR display, which offers increased brightness and contrast levels compared to standard liquid crystal panels. Despite these display improvements, technical reviews suggest that the broader system architecture remains largely similar to previous versions, with minor software adjustments to support the new touchscreen functionality.
Physically, the new units feature a thinner and lighter chassis compared to their predecessors. Apple has also reintroduced the backlit logo on the lid, a design element absent from recent iterations. The move by Best Buy serves to incentivize adoption of the high-end hardware during the initial release period.
