Beta Bionics faces class action lawsuit; investor deadline nears

NEW ORLEANS – Investors who lost over $100,000 in Beta Bionics, Inc. (NasdaqGM: BBNX) stock between July 30, 2025, and February 24, 2026, have until November 3, 2026, to file lead plaintiff applications in a securities class action lawsuit. The suit is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

The lawsuit alleges that Beta Bionics and some of its executives violated federal securities laws by failing to disclose material information. Specifically, the complaint claims the company's iLet Bionic Pancreas insulin pump used an aggressive automated dosing algorithm that delivered dangerously high insulin levels, causing hypoglycemic events. These events allegedly required medical intervention and hospitalization.

According to the allegations, Beta Bionics received thousands of customer complaints related to the device's performance, which the company failed to adequately investigate or report to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The suit further claims that the company did not implement meaningful corrective actions following FDA observations, leading to a warning letter from the agency regarding quality management and reporting.

As a result, the lawsuit contends that the company's positive statements about its business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and lacked a reasonable basis. The law firm Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC is available to discuss legal options with affected investors.
