Beta Bionics Faces Class Action Over Investor Misinformation

Robbins LLP, a law firm specializing in shareholder rights, has announced a class action lawsuit against Beta Bionics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBNX). The suit alleges that the company misled investors about the viability and efficacy of its iLet Bionic Pancreas automated insulin delivery system, which is the company's sole commercialized device. The class period for the lawsuit covers purchases of Beta Bionics common stock made between July 30, 2025, and February 24, 2026.

The complaint asserts that Beta Bionics made materially false and misleading statements regarding the safety and efficacy of the iLet device. In October 2025, the company disclosed it had received an FDA Form 483 related to its complaint reporting system. However, company executives assured investors that this issue did not impact the device's safety or efficacy, downplaying it as a minor interpretation matter regarding which customer complaints needed to be reported.

Contrary to these assurances, the lawsuit claims the FDA's concerns highlighted serious issues with the iLet device itself. The complaint alleges the device malfunctioned and delivered dangerously high levels of insulin to patients, causing hypoglycemic events. Furthermore, the lawsuit contends that the company failed to implement meaningful corrective actions to address these problems.

Investors who incurred significant losses during the specified class period may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit. Robbins LLP is urging such investors to contact the firm for more information before the lead plaintiff deadline of November 3, 2026. The firm states that a series of disclosures between January and February 2026 revealed the extent of the issues and contradicted the company's prior statements. Beta Bionics' stock price experienced a substantial decline following these revelations.
