Bethesda unveils title for next Elder Scrolls game

Bethesda Game Studios confirmed the official title of its long-awaited fantasy role-playing game during a video presentation marking the studio's 40th anniversary. The company revealed that the project, previously referred to only as The Elder Scrolls VI, will be named Sentinel.

Studio head Todd Howard announced the title eight years after the initial confirmation of the game's development. Despite the naming reveal, the company provided no additional technical details, gameplay footage, or a projected release window for the title.
